Mr. Jacob Galindez, MSW, LMSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Hi, I am Jacob Galindez, LMSW, born and raised in Detroit, MI. I started my career focusing on Criminal Justice, but I quickly found that I did not want to be the hammer, but the help. From there, I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Grand Valley State University and Master of Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. I specialized in mental health and substance abuse.

With almost 20 years’ experience with working with kids, adults, and Veterans and their families, I bring a vast variety of tools to the table. I am passionate about working with individuals to help them find their confidence. I enjoy working with and coaching kids and adults, whether that be in fitness, sports, relationships, or life in general.  I also have a strong background and passion in collaborating with individuals struggling with substance abuse and or the ripple effects from it.  I have a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. When I am not at work, I love spending time with my wife and two children, going fishing, and very much enjoy coaching and wrestling on the side!
