
Dr. Megan Wade
Dr. Megan Wade, PsyD., LP, CCISM – Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Megan Wade is a licensed police and disaster psychologist in the state of Michigan. She has extensive experience doing individual therapy with first responders, active duty military, and Veteran populations. As such, she is known to engage in frequent swearing and is direct in her therapeutic approach. Dr. Wade is trained in EMDR, IFS, and several suicide prevention focused interventions. Outside of the office, Dr. Wade is a uniformed reserve officer with local law enforcement and has worked as an embedded psychologist in active shooter, mass casualty, and crisis situations. She has won the VA Psychology Leadership Special Contribution Award and IACP 40 Under 40 award for her work integrating mental health with law enforcement to address officer and Veteran suicide as well as law enforcement response to suicidal crises. Her interests include disaster mental health, trauma, resiliency, and suicidality. For first responder patients, Dr. Wade is connected to the Frontline Strong Together 5 program with the State of Michigan and utilizes insurance to provide zero out of pocket cost for treatment.
